It doesn’t support multi-channel output (only one stereo output is available), the polyphony is reduced to sixteen voices (64 in the full version), MIDI learn and host automation capabilities are limited to four slots, and the song mode is disabled. The free Geist Lite lacks some important features, though. It is possible to apply up to six effects to each drum pad and create up to sixteen scenes with twelve sequencer patterns. It features an advanced drum sequencing engine, a virtual mixer with several built-in effects, intuitive loop slicing, time-stretching, and more. The software can load third-party samples and loops in all standard formats (WAV, AIFF, REX, etc.).
